"I’ve had my insurance through Matt Pelz State Farm since 2017 and I cannot say enough good things about Matt and his team. They are always very helpful when I have questions and they take the time to explain everything to me. They have great communication and are always so friendly when I call or go into the office. I wouldn’t trust my insurance needs to anyone else."

"So I’m not happy and couldn’t imagine how hard it would be to make a claim from them if it’s this hard to get them to take my money. I was referred to Matt but never got to talk to him, they assigned me to someone else that forgets to do his job. Nothing got done in a timely manner, it took almost 2 months for them to tell me my homeowners policy hasn’t gone through because the google maps image shows the roof needs replacing. Even though I sent them receipts and told them the to roof was just replaced. I didn’t bother taking pictures because he told me they would send someone out to do that but never did. I can never get ahold of him and when I do he just tells me he’ll call me back. Being unsatisfied I got new insurance and canceled all my policies through them. He asked for my new proof of insurance (that might be normal not sure I’ve been asked for that) but I sent it to get things done. They continued charging my auto policy for 2 months after cancellation it took calling State Farm to have them force stop my payments. It’s been another month and I finally got a message saying they will look into it after I send additional proof of insurance from my new policy."

"Matt - , I am sorry to see that you are unhappy with the process that went down with your homeowners policy. I recall going out to the location personally and taking photos of the house and submitted those photos with the application for Underwriting review. So, to say we never did is inaccurate. I also know my team member worked a lot with Underwriting to try and get the details ironed out and communicated with you on email and calls to keep you posted on the progress. These other details you mention I am more than happy to discuss with you if you would like. It's unfortunate you felt the time we spent working on this project for you warranted a 1-star review. "

"whatever computer system they use to review policies, post payments needs major updating. I set up an online, paperless account early on so I can track payments, bills, print insurance cards. I don't know what happened after 6 months, I could not view any bill or payment online. We'd get a refund, then a bill. This forced me to contact the office staff for help. Sometimes in person or email (Cara, nice), sometimes on phone (Sean/Shawn). What pushed me over the edge and changed agents was what Sean/Shawn said to me on the phone when asked what is the total auto premium for 6months and he said "if you have a computer, you can look it up." Perhaps Sean/Shawn needs more customer service training."
